In a large hospital, a high-maintenance and repair-intensive old system with rope hoist technology was replaced with modern, low-maintenance belt hoist technology. Our team manufactured and installed a new floor conveyor over 12 floors with a total height of almost 40 meters and officially put it into operation on 27 April.

The technical highlights of the project:

• Conveyor over 12 floors (approx. 40 meters) with belt lifter technology
• Stops on each floor with two openings each
• Powered elevator doors on all floors
• Loading and unloading roller conveyor technology on all floors
• Loading and unloading docking stations for station transport trolleys
• Complete installation and commissioning from a single source

This modernization will provide the hospital with a reliable and low-maintenance conveyor system that will make material transport between floors efficient and safe. We are pleased to have made a contribution to optimizing logistics in this important area of the healthcare system.
